Dash lights flicker

Post by theclick » Sat Apr 21, 2007 10:14 pm

Hi all.

Recently I have noticed that once the engine warming up, the dash lights tend to flicker with relation to the irregular idle of the motor. It does not appear that the headlights or anything else suffers the same problem.

My initial thoughts are just that the idle speed is too low, but could this be a sign of the immanent end of my alternator??

Cheers

perhaps it could be your alternator or voltage regulator?...also check the terminals on your battery, make sure everything is toight like a tiger!
