EA82 Valve nosie

Post by midlifecrisis » Sun Apr 15, 2007 6:06 pm

Hi Guys

Last week the Idler sprocket locked up and stuffed up the cam belt.
Over the weekend we fixed it with a new idler and 2 new belts.

The engine is running fine but now has a tappit like sound from the engine.

It did not make this noise before the Idler locked up.

Any ideas out there,Did we do something wrong ??

Thanks

marc
