Rising suspension on Liberty
Since I bought my Liberty last year, Ive always wanted an Outback due clearance height for off road use, I am always bummed that I cannot access there due low clearance and Ive weighted either I would use that height off road use and yes I would use it and I do want to rise the Liberty.. I am hoping to raise about more than 250 - 350mm clearance from the ground.
What do I have to do/buy/get etc..
The current ride is too soft specially at the back but the struts are fine - just too soft for my needs so if I do have to buy harder struts - its an good excuse!
Cheers & thanks for your replies..

250 - 350mm
300mm is a 2" lift kit, and outback struts / springs, outback rear trailing arm mounts and 26" tyres (205/70R15, 215/60R16)
your lucky, you have a gen2. everything form a Gen2 outback will fit, just bolt it all on.

Is that it? I don't require blocks or anything?.... Outback trailing arms isn't a problem (can source them easily)... um can i use liberty springs on outback struts if I am gonna buy new struts from KYM or Monroe?vincentvega wrote:250 - 350mm

edit: 2" lift kit - Is that an extra that I need to buy? - how much would it be?

2" lift kit is about $450 - $800 depending on where you buy
outback trailing arm MOUNTS, the arms are the same. The mounts are 1" taller. should be able to find them for $50
outback struts new KYB should be under $600
new outback king springs under $250
the rest of the parts you should be able to use off your current suspension. just replace the struts and springs
