Havnt been around (i pop in and out when i own a subaru haha).
anyway, had a good gander under the baru, n noticed they have one fuked up angle for their shafts!
now i was pondering doing the 2-3" lift, big tires yada yada, n using it for an offroader (went through a stage of wanting to do alot of offroading), we used my mates terrano, and sadly, dont do it so much anymore. (and sorta fell away from that crowd) lets just south, southern kiwi blokes dont like loosing fights... n have a habbit of staying very bitter lol.
BUT ANYWAY, thats not my point here, im wondering about lowering the vehicle, this would sort the angle of the shafts, (keeping the cv's in good order) considering they are bloody expensive over here (just had to replace an inner AND an outter) (replaced outter, still clicked, replaced inner... etc).
but yes, i mainly use the car for its 4wd use on grass, and.. i dont know, gravel? other than that shes just a roadcar / roadtripper / daily drive (when i get it back!)
are there any good lowering kit suppliers for Subaru leone RX, (4wd), (coupe if it makes ANY differnce).
what do you guys suggest? Dont let this thread limit the lowering abilitys of the leones, i wouldnt mind any input on the situation with the driveshafts / previous experiences etc.
and dont get me wrong by any means, she wont be lowered "sacked out au on chromiz". Only reason for lowering is i dont need the ground clearance, maybe put some 15-16's on (17's wouldnt be my thing on a leone lol).
a friend of mine did suggest to use 2wd leone springs (as it sits like a normel car) but the modifing bug will get me and ill want to go SLIGHTLY lower than that... and i dont want to cut them, im not a tipical southern kiwi.. i get in fights with those blokes lol....
