Cooling hose

Post by D3V1L » Fri Jul 28, 2006 8:08 pm

on my EA81T theres a small hose that goes from the thermostat housing to a connection under the intake manifold, the other week that hose blew to shreds and i replaced it that weekend, only issue being i cant get in there to do up the hose clamp to my liking, its holding for the moment but i dont know how long for.

is there any way of tightening this hose clamp without removing the intake manifold?? its in a bugger of a spot

cheers
dave

You could try using a small shifter on the top of the hex head of the clamp other than that its off with the manifold
