All Subarus going back to MY had a trip computer (I think 1981 was the first year). They were available mainly in German, American and Japansese markets.
Gen 2 Legacy/Liberties (higher spec cars) were the first available with a trip computers as standard in most countries.

I was thinking about trip computers the other day. Hatchie wants one. Are there after market ones available??
I thought about adding one out of a touring wagon but im sure it has to be hooked to your fuel guage and all that stuff which i belive runs off different types of sensors in a touring model.
