As the title says. I do love my brumby but its ridden with rust throughout. Almost at the point of no repair.
the rear of the tray up against the cab is gone and eaten into the cab itself...
any idea how I can go about repairing it...
Ive sourced 2 new front rust free gaurds and am not too concerned with the rear tray..
step three - use the rusty brumby as a beach vehicle and keep the rust free brumby as a collectors item.
or go back to step one and once you have removed everything from the brumby, get it soda / sand / garnet blasted and patch up what is left with sheet metal.
TOONGA
PJ Gone but not forgotten JETCAR AKA the sandwedge Rusted in pieces
Looks like you've got yourself a good brumby to test out some welding skills and learn how to fix rust like the "yankee boys" do - that'd be a walk in the park for them!
Have some fun with it and learn some stuff on the way. A good rust free brumby should remain original. I reckon they're worth more this way than if they were WRX'd!
