Brumby Workshop Manual

Post by Gazza01 » Tue Jan 14, 2014 9:01 am

http://jdmfsm.info/Auto/Japan/Subaru/old%20models--

Its about 830 Pages to print out so u better have a USB. It covers everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Its MAGIC but a bit mind boggling in places for us laymen.

Gazza your link is incomplete it just takes you to the SUBARU SECTION of that server.

Which one of the PDFs are you talking about in the "old section" ?

Yeah I know that server very well I direct members to it all the time, which is why I got excited when a brumby / MV service manual suddenly appeared on it :) I know as well if you try and hotlink to the site it bounces you to the directory

The file you are both linking to is the 1600-1800 FSM which is for more than one MY vehicle. As well it is missing electrical diagrams, for some reason some pages have been blacked out. :(

I would dearly love a brumby / MV FSM, I know where there in a hard copy in Western Australia but the owner won't let me "borrow" it :)

If you ever need an FSM just send me a PM as I have close to 5 gigabytes of subaru FSMs 8)

or take a scroll through this thread

Hey Toonga,
on that menu, have you had a peek at
-->Repair Instructions
--> 1970-1987 1300, 1400, 1600, 1800.
click on sub menu chassis electrical
then ?wiring diagrams
Figs 8, 9 and 10 are fairly relevant to us, although not later dual headlight versions.
It does contain the mystery black box wiring diagram (fuel pump control unit) which Ive not seen in a diagram before.
Also there is some brat wiring listed in the 87-96 justy, impreza, legacy, svx, for some reason? (sub heading of repair instructions) fig 29 and 30 although I'm not sure how relevant it is.
Just thought you might be interested :)

Nice find adding it to the collection :)

Interesting it is a gregorys and an FSM pasted together in a PDF file.
