Forester sump guard....buy-heading to Fraser Island

Hi guys,
Just bought a Subaru forester MY03 XS and heading to Fraser Island as I wrote this. My question is can anyone direct me to where I could get an aftermarket sump guard somewhere on the north nsw coast or Brisbane or surrounding suburbs?
I've tried ringing 'subaXtreme' with no luck and scorpion subarus won't be trading again until 7/01/13.
If anyone can help me out or give me some hints to modifying the stock sump guard for sand driving I'd really appreciate it!

if you cant source one in time just keep your eyes open for tree roots sticking up on the inland tracks. apart from that you will be fine.
