Identify Component - Possibly Air Con Related?

Post by Smokey » Thu Jul 07, 2011 10:28 pm

86 L Touring Wagon Carbie.

Anyone know what this is and just as importantly how/where it should be connected to? Im assuming its air con related. Capacitor perhaps.

Located above the coil and under the Radiator reservoir tank.

Does it have a plug on it?

The markings on it suggest it may be capacitor, but not sure if it is aircon related. More likely to be connected across the coil

Thanks Gannon & Sven,

How do I connect it? I assume its needed?
It has "O" ends that would fit on the coil, positive is possibly too large and may better connect direct to the battery.
