need help with winch

hi all just would like your thorts on a winch for my 1983
Subaru wagon. I no I don't need a big one. but what do
you guys and girls think would be a good size ???????

im in the process of getting a winch bar made up for my L series and im having trouble finding a winch thats smaller than 9.5 thousand pounds that i would trust. there are cheap chinese ones on ebay but i wouldnt trust them holding my pride and joy out in the bush on a hill with their crappy gearing...just my opinion

I would say 4500lb would be the minimum you would want. Have a look at the T-max ATW series. They come in a 4500lb and a 6000lb. Also Warn makes a 6000lb (although its very pricey)
