Liberty front diff

Post by velocityboy » Sun May 01, 2011 11:14 am

Maybe I asked the wrong question last post, is it possable to put a lsd in the front of a gen 2 liberty box? Is the front diff the same as the rear ie; does the hemisphere from the rear fit the front?

I'm going to say no, as from the images of front diffs and rear diffs Ive seen they are very different in the way they are manufactured.

anyone agree or disagree

Front & rear are different, I've got one in my WRX's 92 Gen 1 dual range box but it would have just as easily gone in my 4.44 box, absolutely fantastic and quiet as the original. Freight is about $98 so $446 ( $407ish AU ) to your door, I had mine in 6 days...ignore the 02-06, they will fit any Legacy/Liberty from 89 onward.

They ( OBX ) make some pretty good stuff for Subi's.
