Shafted!

Post by FujiFan » Mon Apr 25, 2011 8:35 pm

Hey everybody, hope the long w/end has been good to all thus far:)

Now my Q: Going to put an FT4WD box from a Vortex or RX turbo into the carby wagon. Will the front drive shafts from either the Vortex or RX go straight into the L wagon hubs/knuckles?

That should be a YES.

The difference is in the spline count on the output stub of the front diff.

23 for carbie

25 for MPFI/turbo applications.

Cheers

Thanks Bennie thats what I thought, was just concerned about shaft length and knuckles/hubs. Unfortunately I dont have any carby model shafts lying around to do a direct comparison.
Just need to re-boot the shafts that I have then, no need to make hybrids.
