Morey's upper cylinder cleaner

Just thought I'd start a bit of talk about this stuff. I found it hard to find out any information on it and whether it does what it says or not.

Also, for those who have used it, did you notice a difference in the engine and how long did it take? For me, I've only run about 10L of fuel with this stuff in it so far and I swear it has made a big difference in how the car runs. This is in an EA81 that hasn't seen a drop of engine cleaning products in it's entire life

Basically the car pulls away really nicely, seems to have plenty of power for it's age and it sounds so much better as well...could I be imagining this?

Also the exhaust used to smoke quite badly but now I can't see a hint of soot or smoke.
Putting it in the fuel can be a bit of a pain though, figuring how much you need, taking a bit of fuel out to mix it up and put it back in but, so far it's been worth it.

i used it only a few weeks ago. Run it in every tank of fuel for afew fills until it was gone.

made zero to no difference to my car....2002 liberty, but i do run abit of cleaning products etc thru the car every 6 months or so just for the sake of it.

I LIKE to think my motor is pretty clean, rarely running shit petrol and keeping everything pretty good.

Didnt help with my recent sensor issues but i pin that down to age and km.

Not usually, but yesterday I "acidentally" put premium in lol. And before you say that's why it runs better, it's been running better before the premium. But like I said it could be all in my head

And Alex maybe it's the older cars/engines that would see the difference (if any)

i run it in my trucks and if i miss a couple of fills i notice more black smoke than normal i also run moreys oil aditave in everything i own . im a believer

I used to look after a hire fleet of various engines and would religiously add the oil Moreys at varying % directly proportional to the engines hours and we ran one old girl on 100% for years and years

Dunno if I'd use it in a boxer tho

On the bottle it says it cleans carburettors, injectors, valves/seats, fuel system etc of carbon deposits and "varnish". Last time I looked down the carb it was pretty blacked up, might be interesting to see if that's any different having used this stuff.
FROG, should boxer engines be any different to normal engines with this?

I ran Morey's Upper Cylinder Lubricant and Oil Additive in my 1986 VL commodore from NEW with written consent from GMH to use the additives without voiding my Warranty.

The VL cracked the head (common problem in that model) at 275,000kms odd and when we pulled the head off everything inside was clean as a whistle and the bore/s were like new, the valves springs etc were also as clean as a whistle.

I finished up doing 387,000kms odd in total and it was still going at around the 400,000km mark and being driven by an 18 yr old.

I never gave another thought to running the Liberty or the Forester on Morey's as Subaru are so pedantic about their Warranty that after it had lapsed I never gave Morey's another thought and the fact that a lot of Subaru's have high mileages/kilometers on them anyway.

I fitted an upper cylinder lube dripper to my old Ford years ago, within ten km thought I;d jammed the throttle linkage as idle increased to about on choke speed. Nope, had to wind speed screw in a fair bit. Put it down to the upper cylinder lubin' up ! Bought UCL in 20 litres and later discovered the smart arsed chemist sold me what I suspect is two stroke oil and was fouling up my valves and intake ports, so much had to remove head and service it TWICE. Never bought any since
