Subaru Liberty question

Post by primo27 » Thu Feb 24, 2011 5:26 pm

Hi guys

I have just purchased a Subaru Liberty 2006 model with the 3 litre engine. Its a great car whic was purchased at Subaru Docklands yesterday but i have noticed something. Under the bonnet there are 2 id tags. The one on the drivers sides pop rivets are plain but the other side says subaru on the head. Just wondering if this is an indication that the car may have been repaired? I amworried the car may have been in a major accident.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi and Welcome primo27

Not at all.. the one on the passenger side is the factory fitted one and the one on the driver side is the Australian Compliance fitted tag. So no need to worry :)

But saying this.. you must post up pics of your new car or we won't give you anymore info  (just kidding) I love the H6 models

Thanks heaps. I just was concerned that the rivets were different so maybe the car has been hit and tags came off for repairs. Im guessing the tags were put on at different times

thats a relief thanks and i will post some pics up soon

Yes, is impolite to drop a new topic in someone's thread, or a post a response of no significance whatsoever in a quest to boost one's post count.

This post by definition is also whoring!!!!
