1992 2wd wagon

Hi all, I have just purchased a 1992 2WD 5 speed manual wagon and the previous owner tells me it has a 2.2 litre motor. Were these wagons fitted with a 2.2 motor? I was under the impression they were 1.8L. I hope it is a 2.2. better for towing. By the wat I am new to the forum hence the question

It depends on what model you have. Is it an L series or a Liberty?

This is an L series

They came with a 1.8L carburettor engine. In manual gearboxes, they came with either a 5sp dual range 4WD, a 5sp single range or a 5sp FWD single range

This is a Liberty

It came with a 2.2L Fuel Injected engine. In manual gearboxes, they came with either a 5sp dual range AWD or a 5sp FWD single range

Thanks for that. GX Liberty, 5spd FWD, same as your second photo except stock wheels, no fogs and I can't see the moon in my paint finish
