wierd blinker problem

on my 91 lib the left blinker seems to be powering up and staying on but only with lights on.once i turn the lights off the blinker comes good and works fine.anyone had this problem or thinks they mite have an idea i can look at.

Do you have a trailer plug? Maybe dodgy wiring back there?

yeah i do....problem only just happened but i,ll check the plug as the car was repaired in a shop after a rear ender and a loose wire is possible

just poped outside out of boredom and checked it...you were spot on,it was the plug not hocked up the right way and the pins contacted the metal flap and earthed out....thanks for the lead
