Brumby Suspension Repairs

Post by dukbilt » Wed Aug 26, 2009 11:16 pm

Hi,

the suspension in my 1988 Brumby is getting on and needs some work. The shocks need replacing, and I'd say other bits need renewing as well. I want to raise the suspension as much as I can and still have it road-legal in ACT and NSW (is that 2 inches maximum?). I plan to lift the car and renew the suspension at the same time, so what's a good strut/shock absorber combination for a lifted Brumby?

Thanks,

Ewan

Try a search.
Then get some King springs and KYB struts on the front and if lifting, any brand Landcruiser shocks on the rear.
