1991 Liberty GX FWD conversion to AWD

hey guys i was wondering if anyone could help me out with some advice on converting my FWD to AWD, i have a second liberty (1992(wreck)) that is AWD and i was wondering how hard is to to change the two drive types over (well more of a rip off one and put on other, then scrap the rest).

i do believe that the AW drive system on the wreck is in working condition, well no major problems.

i bought my subaru to have the subaru name and now i would like the handling that they are known for!, also would there be much a performance drop in doing this conversion?, and a legalities concerning QLD transport that i may want to be made aware of, before starting on the modifications?.
