The sparky who fixed/finished my EJ18 conversion wiring ran an ignition positive to the middle pin of the coil pack connector. In that wire he put a 10A fuse. At that stage the fuel system was unfinished, so the car would only run for a few seconds at a time, but it seemed electrically ok.
Now with the fuel delivery fixed, that fuse keeps blowing after a few minutes idling. It's blown two 10A and now a 15A as well. Should I just bung in a higher-rated fuse, or is there likely to be something else wrong?

EJ coil current draw?
I was told a complete EFI system only draws 8 amps. (I have not experienced this for my self).
Sounds to me like something is wrong... Was the EJ harness not complete requiring him to run his own wires... the coil wires should have simply been included in the harness.
If it's blowing fuses you should be able to take the car back to them to get them to finish it so it doesn't blow fuses. The Thread sings out "WARRANTY" to me.
