07 Outback Tyres

Post by Ronald t » Mon Nov 10, 2008 9:10 pm

Hi All

Does anybody know of alternative tyres for a 07 outback. I know there is probably a thread somewhere on the subject but I couldnt find it.

Has anybody had any success with tyres other than the geolanders?

Thanks

It is probably time to have a thread marked sticky at the top of this section with all the common tyre sizes isn't it?

What use are you planning on for your tyres? Mainly onroad, offroad, or 50/50?

I couldn't find a tyre I liked in a 17" so I actually went back to a 16" wheel. I have the Bridgestone D694 in a 225x70/16. It is an all terrain tyre. I didn't like them at first as they were very square edged and quite "rolly". Now they have around 25,000 k's on them and they are actually a very good tyre. They are wearing extremely well and are still quiet.

If you are wanting to stay with the 17" wheels then you can get these following tyres from Bridgestone, Federal CouragiaSU, Kumho, Pirelli along with others.
