Brumby ignition issues

Post by Fatz » Sun Sep 21, 2008 12:12 pm

Hey all,
i have an issue with the brumby that has stumped me.
As soon as i connect the battery, all the dash lights come on and the fuel pump starts.
I have disconnected the pink ignition plug and re spliced a new one. Even when the plug isn't connected to the ignition barrel, the lights are still on.
There are no obvious wire damage or disconnected cables.
Has anyone else had this issue before?
Any ideas would be muchly appreciated.'
Cheers
Adam

There is a relay in the engine bay on the shock tower the one closes to the engine i think unplug it and see if the lights go out. If it does you have an issue with driving lights. However have you had the ignition switch off the rear of the barrel lately could be 180 degrees out.
