car stalls when auto in gear

hi guys...small problem..the lib starts and revs fine but when i put the auto in gear[reverse or drive]it stalls,sudden stall.has anyone had this problem before?i need to try and get it sorted if you have some ideas as my other half is working the drags and needs the car....thanks

Had this happen to mine some time ago ended up turning to shit and had to replace the trans .

i just replaced the neutral switch on the auto and no luck...thought it mite have been that

how does she idle chubby?
All the breather and vacuum hoses connected in the engine bay?
I had similar issues, turned out to be a MAF hose was loose.

starts great,idles perfect.revs really well but all goea pear shaped once in gear....very sudden stall once auto is placed in any gear??..i checked all the lines and pulled plugs appart to check them but all looks fine...i,m starting to pull my hair out over it which i guess isnt all bad as i,m mostly grey now.
