hey hasn't anyone here DIY'd a slingshot when your a kid:cool:

anyway I reckon a slingshot isn't likely to penetrate glass and give concussion. It only takes a stupid bugger and a arm and a rock to be dangerous, so the arm should be illegal, so everyone line up and get your throwing arm cut off:mrgreen:

Nah, as a kid I had easy access to a .22 air rifle so never really had the need for a slingshot. When I did decide to try and get a bit more bang for my buck I did some experimenting with black powder and home made pipe bombs.

Of course I don't do anything like that now ...... except at work sometimes.

slingshots with an arm brace are illegal (in SA anyways)

Slingshots such as the one pictured require the purchaser to be 16+ years of age - same as knives.

If you put a sinker in one of those in the picture it will go through a window like a bullet and if you hit somebody in the head you will kill them:mad:
