Ive got a faulty oxygen sensor and was told today that it will affect the economy by using more fuel.

Try getting someone independant to the dealer to test it,they may be trying to get out of a warranty repair.

O2 sensors will not affect it very much at all its only for the finetuning side of the Air/Fuel mix nothing drastic

i think its his foot lol

i always complain my economy isnt as good as evry1 elses but i have to put that down to the 4ks i do to work and back each day and the fact i dont get much driving done on the highways.

In the final mix i think everything no matter how small will make a difference,however from what I understand it is a key component in the delivery of fuel mixture into the engine.I think this link is very imformative
