Ive got a faulty oxygen sensor and was told today that it will affect the economy by using more fuel.:( Try getting someone independant to the dealer to test it,they may be trying to get out of a warranty repair.

O2 sensors will not affect it very much at all its only for the finetuning side of the Air/Fuel mix nothing drastic

i think its his foot lol

i always complain my economy isnt as good as evry1 elses but i have to put that down to the 4ks i do to work and back each day and the fact i dont get much driving done on the highways.

In the final mix i think everything no matter how small will make a difference,however from what I understand it is a key component in the delivery of fuel mixture into the engine.I think this link is very imformative
