Nope. The 25 spline count on the diff's output stubs are found on all EJ subi's, and MPFI EA82s including the turbo. Interestingly, the MPFI autos are still 23 splines as I discovered on Sheldon the new L series...

autos have a softer power application to the driveline :)

Yeah fair call - but the diff output shafts are the same size - what's two more splines going to do - why not go with less and make them thicker like those found on tractor PTOs...

I think the 2wd EJ gearboxes also have 23 spline counts on the diff output stubs.
