Small update

I crossed a creek (about 10 inches deep) and water splashed onto the bonnet. When i got to the other side, i opened the bonnet to see if any water had gotten into the intake funnel.

There were a few splashes, so just to be safe, I got a Y piece and made a water diverter/resonator ( yes it actually made the induction roar quieter)

It has a few small holes drilled in the bottom to let any water out

How fast is the water getting sucked through the intake? Would it be going slow enough that 'drain' to catch the water on it's way through?

Looks the goods, any 'seat of the pants' difference?
