Plated Lsd Q's

Hi all
Just scored an lsd centre off an rx leone,
I Pulled it all apart,it all looks in good nick,
What i want to know is what is the thickness of the plates meant to be,
Do i need to oil the plates on reassembly?
What oil is best to use for it and lastly,
How are the cv stubs secured to the diff centre(didn't get any)
