Fuel tank for Brat

Post by Pommiebrat » Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:33 am

The fuel tank on my Brat is rotten through and so I've had to pull it out whilst fitting the 3 inch lift. I want to replace it preferably with an aftermarket tank of more robust construction and as a result of the lift have a little more room to play with. Does anyone have any details on anything that fits either from another type of vehicle or from a bespoke manufacturer?

Cheers,

John

Your fastest bet would be to probably just get a newer one

Never heard of an aftermarket fuel tank for a Brat but they are plentiful in OZ so another one would not be hard to procure.
The reason for my post is to say, get a new one made. If you're installing a lift kit you can even make it 3" deeper. They are a very basic shape as far as fuel tanks go.

From memory the MY wagon is slightly deeper than the Brumby & coupe and fits right in ?

Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions of the brumby fuel tank?
