OK just to throw this to the often rising topic of "what rail modifications are needed to fit EA82 n/a or Turbo in an MY or Brumby of STANDARD height"

Judging by these pics I scored today of Lee's EA82T'd 84 Brumby I spied a few years back no mods are required for standard height. It may be the case that if you raise your MY or Brumby the timing belts covers may then hit the rails.

Pics above are of the RHS,


LHS has a little less clearance at the rear where the rocker cover comes preetty close to the rail ~5mm or so ?? And loking from directly above the LHS rocker cover looks to overlap the line of the LHS rail BUT it is way above it in a standard height Brumby
