The final count down
megan did you hose it when you first got it to condition the canvas??
I never knew I had to. But like Grant said, It's done now, god gave me a hand to do it.
When I got off the phone to Brett, I was in a grat mood, so I rang the lady at Trek, and let her share my mood. Had to leave a message, but I am sure she got the point. I

like byron said new canvas needs to be wet down to seal up.
sticking the material makes holes in the canvas. wetting the tent down all the thread soaks up the water and swells, filling the holes.
I suggest you guys put the campers up and soak all the seams with your hose. let it dry and repeat. My tent doesnt leak a drop after doing this.

Interesting.... My camper said it is ready to use out of the box. It has a 'factory waterproofing'.
In saying that I hosed it down & coated it in a water proofing solution any way

I was just loctiting things that I don't want falling off. And I changed a ball joint because I was sus on it. Also did a full service, all the oils, filters and greased everything with a nipple. Then I went and played in the mud to make sure it's right and almost got bogged about 500m from home
