The TANK is now registered.

Take one "trolley tractor" (used to tow big long trailer picking up trolleys on the coast), install the salvaged motor from a paddock basher, weld plenty of new steel into it, spray it in Mopar Everglade Green and you have "The TANK". A Subie that is as solid as... solid as... as... umm... a really solid thing. She feels very stable and sure footed on the open road, and you can feel the extra weight and strength in it as you drive around town. Needless to say, I'm stoked.

This is a link to the main post about the project, which spans over a six month period of part time work, in between doing stuff for other people. Oh, and it wasn't too much of a money sponge either, as I'm only on a pension.

Great stuff, hope we get some pic’s of her in action (soonish).
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).
