where is the crack?

If its between the valve seats you should be ok.

If you are no mechanic then a head removal/reinstallation is not something you will want to attempt yourself. It will need to have the offending head taken off the motor and fixed at a head repair place. Depending on where the crack is and the severity they can quite often weld it up and pressure test the head.
