It was, yes. They stopped production in 2006, and sold the last of them off a few months back (LOTS of unsold models). I saw one in California earlier this year, it looks a bit ungainly from the back and there isn't much storage space. Definitely doesn't have the lines of the Brumby...
It was made in the US at a joint Isuzu-Subaru plant, which now makes Toyota Camry's for the US market oddly enough...
