Dude thats awesome! I wish I could do that..

Probably should have paid more attention in mech workshop during highschool instead of welding my name into the workbench =)

lol... this si my first attempt at such a thing... never did anything automotive in high school. kinda surprising my self so far. have to wait and see how the finished product turns out. be easy to spot any misalignment in panels when its painted white

So i thought it was about time for an update of this thread since it started ages and ages ago. Haven't touched it since about September last year until today. I've done as much as i can on the wiring problem in the off-roader so today i got stuck into this one. Its been on stands since about July or whenever i got the thing, i put in some biggish hours cutting out the stuffed bit, welding in a good bit off a half cut, When the going got though (squaring it all up, pushing the 2 sides together etc) not much went to plan so i pretty much gave up. Im now going to pay a smash repairer to either finish what I've started or cut off what I've done and have another crack.

So today i got it back on all 4 wheels and rolling again, pulled out the exhaust, prop shaft, stripped the engine bay a little more (abs, brake lines etc), tidied and bagged up the wiring and gave it a good wash and vacuum to get rid of the 6 months worth of dust. She's ready to trailer places to get quotes now so soon as my other liberty is running again i'll be on my way getting quotes.

here's a few current photo's
