Do EJ's use EA gudgeon pin idea??

that of a lawn mower style gudgeon pin clip and stubborn gudgeon pin or have subaru improve on this somehow?

i ask as i am trying to remove gp's from old sick EA81 to diagnose and fix it, clean as a whistle and no carbon and previous bushing remover slide hammer no fit these pins !!

yes the ea's use a circlip and then the same slide in gudgeon pin
