Anyone willing to build me a gearbox?

Post by vincentvega » Sun May 13, 2007 6:55 pm

My best mate will soon be coming up from wollonging so that i can monster truck his Gen2 wagon.

He likes the idea of fitting the L series low range to his lib gearbox.

Are any of you guys willing to build me a box? I will be doing all the work on the car, but I dont have the skills to tackle the gearbox. As he lives so far from me I also need it reliable, so im not interested unless you really know what your doing.

anyone?

I could do it, this is what I have in my car now, but the logistics of freight may end up making it an expensive task. Hopefully someone closer to you can help out.

Dane - old mate Serge @ John French did mine. Well it was a Full Time Box. Only problem is you will have to pay workshop rates to do it.

Hrm - just over $500

I gave him two complete boxes and he stripped both and did the job.

How soon do you need it? I can do it as can Dave but we will both be at Fraser for the next 2 weeks.
