does anyone know if the MY fromt wheel bearings are the same as L series front wheel bearings???

get a set of sealed (2rs) bearings (easy and cheap) and just reuse your old oil seals. If you knock the bearings out before removing the seals it doesn't damage the seals. Use an old bearing as the seal installer. A set of four sealed units won't be more than $40 the code is on the old bearings, but I am pretty sure they are 6207's anyone here with an L or MY that goes offroad will be able to tell you - they are bitches for eating bearings on water crossings...
I agree the bearing are the same, and the seals are different. I know this for sure as i have used MY/Brumby bearings in my brother L series sucessfully. (long story as to why)

they are a royal bitch when they let go.
how do the sealed units go, to those who have them installed??

Smoov I haven't had a problem at all with mine. Have had them in for a while now (maybe 2 years).

Both sides at once, because generally if one bearing is gone the others aren't far behind. This saves doing it a couple of months down the track.
