Best tool ever..
Best tool ever..
Bought a new tool yesterday that i used for the first time today... its the proper tool for doing up them anoying metal bands that hold the CV boots on.
I love this thing... i put it on and run the band though the tool... i spin a thingo to tighten it... bend it up... pull another thingo to cut it... tap it flat and fold the little metal wings over... done.
Got it from repco for $50... should have bought one YEARS ago.

no, the best ever tool is the CV puller that a friend of mine made. It has a crown nut attached to a large threaded bolt which goes through a housing that fits against the front disc and another bolt on the other side of the housing. Basically you pull the CV through the wheel assembly enough to show a bit of thread, then this thing pulls it all the way through. Is brilliant!
