vent control vaccume ea82t

Post by wrx_nut » Wed Oct 18, 2006 7:01 pm

where abouts do you put the little vaccume hose that goes to the vent control tank (behind RHS strut tower) on an ea82t?

since i converted my wagon i cant seem to get it working..
does it have to be connected to direct vaccume with a 1 way valve because i now have boost?

cheers

You dont need a check walve but the valve on the tank sometimes fail so you may need one. My guess is however that it has become separated at the join above the accelerator pedal. There is also a one way vavle there too

yer checked all that it wasnt getting vaccume so im getting some vaccume line this w/e and trying to sort it out..might change the tank over aswell see what happens... the one way check valves should only suck air (vaccume) from the tank right?
