Anyone ever seen the plastic/rubber dust caps that go over the rear drum adjusters? That little square peg that you tighten up to wind your brake shoes out...I'd never seen the cap until I bought this ute
What else goes missing...well the push buttons for the fresh/circ in the cab are made of particularly brittle plastic (even looks a little like bakelite!) the locating hole usually shatters and the knob falls out. I found one under the floor vinyl once. Scored a couple of brand new factory items recently, squirrelled away for the wagon

And for the ute owners who still has the plate/s that cover the lock mechanism in the center of their tailgate? Previous owner of mine must have unbolted it to tug on the lock pushrods to open the tailgate instead of fixing the latch handle mech. Now the plate is lost forever, lets all manner of dirt, leaves and crud in there when I try to sweep out the tray. Also found a complete kiwi fruit skin in there once.
And yes the rear guard cavities fill up with bulldust, which when wet turns to clay. I recently dug about a 9L bucket full of wet muddy clay out of my guards not long ago, must be doing wonders for the rust situation in there
