tool for EA81 #1 head stud nut torquing

there is or wuz a picture in here of a tool that helps , ring one end, 90 degree bend, about 3", nother 90 bend then a 1/2" square drive hole for torque wrench....

just dropping lunch crumbs over a catalogue for Litchfield Engineering P/L, Croydon Park , SA Part no E3324 11/16" suits Ford OHV motor. These were made in Adelaide, so could likely be an abundance of them near Silverbullet around fleas markets, garage sales, swap meets etc. Save self grief looking for them in phone book or 'net. Cattledog is a bit musty and dusty - from 1970 !

Another tool that looks like it may also do the job is like an 11/16" ring spanner, that instead of a handle leading to other end, is a stumby number like two 20c pieces side by side, the second being 1/2" drive hole once again, part # E3344 another specialty tool to suit Holden EJ Sweephead

The one I borrow is a Sidchrome made tool and is structured more like the tool at most left,
, and was ground down a little to fit EA81 #1 head stud nut

11/16" = 17.4625 millimetres

Made in SA eh? Who'd have known there could be one near me

In abundance I'm not so sure. Some interesting shapes there, but the instructions for my torque wrench say not to use a tool like E3344 in that catalogue.

oh, for fear of altering final torque achieved I suppose. Lucky for me I used the other one

I did something similar for EA82 head bolts, just not a wobble socket, must find and try on the 81 then...

EJ convert has forgotten. Maybe EA82T heads are different, you never had one eh ?

I had trouble the moment I turned Japanese - what with a handful of tools, sockets in 1/2" drive only -all I need for an old Ford - what's this 3/8 and 1/4 drive stuff for ??

Still can't find a 1/4 drive 17mm socket to get in at two of the EA82 head bolts, so use a 3/8 drive 17mm with its shoulders rounded off just like the pic above

That tool or very similar is also in the A82 manuals, must be for a reason ?
