Who are these "guests" we have in here ??

Post by steptoe » Sun Jan 26, 2014 8:02 am

Notice how we always seem to have "guest" stats outnumbering members ?

Are the "guests" members just looking without signing in, or do we really have a lot of guests looking in?

Normally a guest "post" is made by a member that had had their account deleted but the posts are still on the board.

Guests veiwing posts are people who are either not logged in or don't have an account.

Yeah, stating the obvious. Do many members simply view as guests ? Surely easier to sign in, hit new posts and read the layest of interest, say a few words, then sign out ? I woulda thought .....

I sometimes check the forum from my phone and don't bother logging in because I never post from my phone. On my PC though I'm permanently logged in.

Not sure if this site is the same but some other sites only show all the threads when you are logged in.
