Well, no genius amongst us here with a single hose that does the job ??
Gonna sit down with a Mackay naster catalogue one day .....
30mm ID yet the metal pipe from the pump is about 28.5mm OD ??
Just by chance I came across an abandoned Camry a few years back, and in the boot were a set of spare hoses - thought they'd come in handy for this conversion in the future.
How right was I ?
CH1620 Mackay part number
OEM # 1657232020A
Bottom hose for Holden badged Toyotas Apollo JK, JL 2.0
Camry 1.8 & 2.0
About 1992 era
has a true 90 degree in it that is not a long sweeping bend, cut it out, matched it up with a bit of a subie hose, joined with a cut off thermo housing pipe bit and off to find something likely similar. Ended up getting another CH1620 to chop its nice bend out and hope to join it with a sensor adaptor joiner once it arrives from China $4.85 posted
$16 for the hose
Australian Made , times 2. I reckon they get the price from first two part numbers
As for the difference between where EA82 heater hoses come off engine and where MY heater tap is - the two hoses I picked out were excellent for their bends for both hoses
CH1687 is a heater hose for Vc, VL V8 Commodores ,
CH2041 is for VS V6 Commodore
one has heaps of bends, cut some off, the other is a short right angle bend to get water from the inlet manifold of mpfi anyway and bends immediately and clears the front of the starter solenoid.
All helping to make the EA82 look factory in the MY
