I have fitted a few Wolfs, they are great. I would not put the factory RX stuff in unless I had to.

The only cons for a after-market setup is that the emissions controls is not completely correct/setup.
If you get pulled over for a defects check, your in trouble!
You will notice theres a funny disclaimer sticker on a lot of after-market ECUs.............

i have got a wolf v4... once my car is up and running all sweet it wil be spendin gsome time on the dyno to get it all right... i will save all the settings to my comp and pass it on to you once it is all done ... tha tbeing that this is actually possable.

still in the process of getting the car on the road...

for the random checks im just going to have a little cover that will cover the hand controler and they shouldnt notice it.. actually i had better see there there is actually emmission controll stuff there...

would a wolf be able to pass if it needed to?

Hi there..yes you can tune your wolf with a nice emmision friendly map..and have a map for economy..then another map for all balls out mode..and the wolf will let you switch between the 3 with an lpg type switch...and do it whilst driving ..no need to stop...its all for the taking with wolf v4....yes you can save it through the wolf software... .i have something you might like....a DATA LOGGER for the wolf v4. .it gives you data when you go for a drive and tells you all the specs of that run..make tuning much more easy..lets you know where its rich and lean...i can email it..also i have a diagram for the wolf to pc com port pinout
its very simple 3 wire,s to the correct pins....also i have a friend working on an auto tune program for the wolf..it will be a while off yet but will basically make dyno tuning ,only for the real fussy tuner,s...cheers

do you have any wolf software disk,s? you ll need them...its all free to download if you look hard enough.. :)

I just got my car back from the tuner today, my stock 4 plug ECU is holding back any more mods to my stock engine, otherwise it will run too lean.

I would recommend to go aftermarket knowing the limitation with the stock ECU.

There was a guy from the usmb who piggy backed an Greddy E-Manage ecu to his stock ecu. it gave him greater versility over his fuel and spark maps, and he was able to still use the features of the stock ecu... emissions ect.

His username was steveman09, i will look for the thread
