97 forester front bumper

Post by hickozforester » Thu Dec 06, 2012 6:27 pm

I have recently had a little accident requiring some repairs to the front bumper and head lights... I would like to know if there is any difference between the 97 front end and the 2000 front end in regards to fitting and mounting.

And help would be great. or anyone who has a right front headlight and front end.

Cheers

Warrick

They had the same facelift so I would say it would be the same. Same goes for Liberty & Outback as well, Subaru would be unlikely to change anything on the same line of series.

Headlights, bonnet and grill are different. 00-02 group of those items will bolt on but wont go as individual parts.

I think the way the bumper mounts is also different but I'm not sure. Perhaps PM RSR 555.

I'd search your local wreckers for an earlier Gen1, they are becoming more common at wreckers...
