Brumby Kid wrote:Same with engine gearbox and diff.

This is because the last post on the older threads are now older than a month, so they disappear to keep the forum tidy. If you change the setting at the bottom of the sub-forum (such as "Engine gearbox and diff") from the default of one month to "beginning" then all posts and miles of pages of threads will appear.

Yes it will. You will see some members "bump" a thread if no one has helped them out with their question - this moves it to the top of the list - it's also discouraged as a common use otherwise we end up with a pot load of threads full of "bump" as the only thing in the posts... But if you're bumping with extra info or a question for the OP to help them out then that's quite alright!

Bennie, do the Mods delete "bump" posts with no additional info or Q's in them?

Dunno... I'm not a mod. But if it became prevalent enough I'm sure they would.

Bumping is a pain if it happens on a regular basis, they will get deleted. This is a forum if you don't get an answer from your question either nobody wants to answer or they don't know the answer. Bumping won't help.

Hey Brett, is this issue a security one as I keep getting a pop-up message whenever I come onto AUSubaru.

That sounds more like malware on your computer but as I understand it you use SAS and avast on your machines. :)

I have never had a pop up from this site on any of my machines and 2 don't have any antivirus at all, as they are easier to re install than slow down :) (old boxes)

I don't believe it to be malware as I visit other sites that use the same vBilletin software and don't get the same message?

I do use SAS and Avast but it's a windows message that appears not either of the spyware/antivirus programs.

Ah well the PM popup is related to your security settings in IE. Also internet explorer sucks majorly you should try google chrome.

Google Chrome is too bandwidth hungry and too slow when I'm away at work :( I try and use Firefox more than IE

Hmmm, ********* was removed from my signature, obviously there is something up. I just can't see how one of Australia's leading aftermarket companies for Soobs can be censored from a site about Aussie Subarus.

Does Admin wish to clarify what's going on?

Are they forbidden or is it just a computer glitch?

Easy, ditch Internet Explorer and get either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, your pages will load much faster and there will be less issues like above
