i work in a freight company in sydney...
and today our company exported possibly the worlds best car........


a brand new 2006 wrc wrx running replica 8O :D (worth us$180 000)!!!!!!
while the real car is tackling the rally stages its brother goes to car shows around the world!!
it was going to japan

When I read the topic title, I thought someone had come across a mint GLF-5... :P


Keen to see the photos. Is it just a show-pony type dress-up or is it a fully prepared WRC car that gets "light duties"?

its a full replica..... carbon fibre panels, motor (don,t know how worked and it had no keys :evil: ), the only thing that looked off was the exhuast..
it even had the roof camera :wink:
the car was at subaru headquaters out at western sydney and is now on its way to japan..
i dont know where it was built because it is left hand drive??? eurospec??

Most if not all Subaru WRC cars are LHD.

It sure did have all the nice bits inside and had the intercooler etc. Not sure if the engine was there though.

havin trouble getting pics from work.... i got some on my phone but they are fair crap..
not the exact same car but similar... i think the spoilers are a little different and the chrome aroun the exhaust was not there... the one we imported had solberg stickers on it too...
and it was a running replica :twisted:


all i needed was the keys :roll:
