L series lift kit

Hoping somebody can tell me where to get a lift kit for the L series wagon I just bought? I have emailed or tried to call I think 4 different places now and only come up with one response, which to be honest was far more than I was expecting ($610 + post)

Would even go a second hand one if it was in good nick.

who have you emailed there is a few crews getting around that make them, but there not cheap.
you do get what you pay for so 610 isnt to bad if its a full lift

Body - with an L series unless you want to be forever paying for and replacing new CV's it's a body lift for sure. Strut lift only puts too much angle on the CV joints and they'll wear out too quickly.

yeah I was just wondering what he got quoted on, seemed more in line with body.

as for CV wear, it's personal preference but i'll take more lift and more wear and tear over less lift and less wear and tear

Where you really get your lift is from larger tyres. Lift kits are generally used to lift the body above the running gear to increase the clearance in the guards for larger tyres...

I know it's personal preference, but you could always go for a 4 inch lift kit yet still have your CV angles the same as stock... Just saying!

Perhaps I was mistaken in thinking $610 is expensive, probably because one of the sites I saw that doesnt reply to email has one listed for $350!

Anyways yes Im looking for a body lift. Had another person come back to me with $850 for the same thing yesterday arvo so maybe the $610 is the go. Also noticed the yank crowd SJR and thier kit which doesnt include a steering extension which was reasonably cheap.

The $610 quote is from 'crossbred performance'. Anyone using one of these?

crossbred performance are good kits.
You can get second hand ones for 300-400 if you can find them...

The kits for $350, that company stopped making them 10yrs ago and went out of business. The web site is still up tho!!
