It's sitting next to a charger... I think

I think vw borrowed audis quattro system and call it 4motion.

It's better than a subaru :-)

Congrats - very nice piece of hardware there...

Now, is it time for some tasty high-end mods sourced from German aftermarket tuning companies???

The only thing I'll do is get some rs4 audi rims for it. Probably 19inch or so when the current tyres are knackered.

It's a 3.2l v6 184kw 330nm FSI with DSG gearbox which is extremely weird to drive but ultra cool.

I was looking at afew of the diesels but they all ran FWD and weren't as upspec as the petrol.

Fyi info in DSG

direct-shift gearbox (German: Direkt-Schalt-Getriebe [1] ), commonly abbreviated to DSG, [2][3]

is an electronically controlled dual-clutch [2]

multiple-shaft manual gearbox, in a transaxle design – without a conventional clutch pedal, [4] and with full automatic, [2] or semi-manual control. The first actual dual-clutch transmissions derived from Porsche in-house development for 962 racing cars in the 1980s.

In simple terms, a DSG is two separate manual gearboxes (and clutches), contained within one housing, and working as one unit. [2][3][5] It was designed by BorgWarner, [4] and was initially licensed to the Volkswagen Group, with support by IAV GmbH. [citation needed] By using two independent clutches, [2][5] a DSG can achieve faster shift times, [2][5] and eliminates the torque converter of a conventional epicyclic automatic transmission. [2]

Sooo I'm loving this car. It has an immense amount of power and mated to the DSG gearbox its an absolute beast.

I don't think I'll ever own another Japanese car!

I'll hang onto my liberty though :-)

Nice choice, $hame the R36 badge was not an option. Actually the Charger caught my eye too

Won't take long to get used to the DSG. Anytime you think you need to overtake, shove selector in S for Steptoe, watch tacho as it shifts from 6th to 4th and now , you are ready to plant foot :D

yeh the R36 is a nice car, but i cant justify 40k for one when i can buy a passat like mine with literally every feature and a serious amount of power for half the price. The 3.6 fuel consumption is abit scary too haha.

Im already getting used to the DSG, its a brilliant design and works really well.

Seagull had a new one of these as a company car last year, beautifully made & diesel, I couldn't believe the grunt it had and over 1000k's to a tank hammering the crap out of it, it was really weird when you came to a set of lights and the engine would cut out then just take off like nothing had happened once you put your foot down, I'd have one in a heartbeat if I was after a family car.
